Integrity Commission Not The Highest Decision Making Body of The ANC

ANC Secretary General Ace Magashule has reminded journalists that the Integrity Commission is actually not the highest decision making body of the party.

Magashule was responding to a question from a journalist relating to when is he considering stepping aside. This comes after the ruling party's Integrity Commission directed that Magashule must step aside pending his legal woes.

Magashule reminded journalists that the second highest decision making body of the ANC which is the NEC is currently dealing with his matter and everyone must wait for the outcome. He also hinted that the decision of the NEC will still be reviewed by the party's highest decision making body, the National General Council (NGC).

"There is a process by the National Executive Committee of the ANC which is the second highest decision making body of the ANC after the national conference. I think the Integrity Commission was doing its work. Let us leave it there and leave the matter to the National Executive Committee," Magashule said.
