UAE Asks For Madagascar COVID-19 Organics As Total Cases Reach 35 000

"The problem is that it comes from Africa. And they cannot accept that a country like Madagascar, which is one of the poorest countries in the world, has discovered this formula to save the world"

Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina has revealed that the United Arab Emirates has asked to receive COVID-19 organics. This comes after the UAE send sanitation equipment to Magagascar as part of their cooperation to fight the coronavirus.

Total cases of coronavirus in the UAE are sitting at 36 359 with recoveries more than 19 000. The country's total deaths are at 270 and active cases are at 19 936.

In his tweet President Rajoelina thanked UAE's President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the new cooperation which proves that each country has wealth to share. He also announced that the UAE had asked to receive COVID-19 organics from his country.

The World Health Organization recently commended Madagascar for its fight against COVID-19. In a phone call, the head of the UN’s World Health Organization commended Madagascar’s fight against the coronavirus pandemic, according to the nation’s president.

President Rajoelina previously slammed WHO for not endorsing his country's remedy for COVID-19.

"If it were a European country which had discovered this remedy, would there be so many doubts,'' said President Rajoelina in an exclusive interview with France 24, Paris-based international television news network and Radio France International.

''The problem is that it comes from Africa. And they cannot accept that a country like Madagascar, which is one of the poorest countries in the world, has discovered this formula to save the world," he added.

Madagascar has sent its COVID-19 organics commonly known as CVO to a number of countries including Comoros, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Niger, Tanzania, Nigeria, Senegal, and Chad.
