A video clip has emerged and is making rounds on social platforms here Prophet Bushiri makes a plea to his congregants to donate money.

"You are saying it's a 'Sunday and I cannot go without my offering'. There's a church account I'm putting on the screen right now," Bushiri is heard saying in the 27-second video, which was posted on Twitter.

"The most selfish and cruel thing that one can do is to take someone's hard earned money that they sent you as a kind and loving gesture and you take it and give it to Bushiri," wrote on Twitter user.

"I want you to put your offering in the church account. Put your seed, put your tithe, don't hesitate. Don't listen to the devil. Don't listen to what people say. Don't listen to what your mind says. Listen to what God says..."

"He must find a job and stop leaching on our monies. If I hear that any of my family members is giving money to Bushiri they must never ever in their lives call me for financial assistance," wrote another Twitter user.

"Coronavirus is exposing the so called fake posters and prophets from the real ones," another Twitter user wrote.

Bushiri is heard saying 'don't listen to your man' as he persuades people to make deposits into a Nedbank account that he provides on the video screen.

"A whole prophet says you shouldn't listen to your husband, yet the husband is the head of the house according to the Bible... this one doesn't have compassion. We're in a middle of a crisis, economy-wise but he's still milking people," wrote @vittomohlanka on Twitter.

This surely was not a good move for the prophet who is accused of posting fake miracles videos on social media platforms.
